Project Summary
Cast-in-Place Concrete Box Girder and Steel Girder Bridge
The project consists of a twelve span bridge structure carrying a single RTD light rail track over 6th Ave and Indiana Ave. The bridge consists of concrete cast-in-place box girder approach spans and a steel girder main span. The bridge totals 1534’-6” in length with a maximum concrete span of 152’ and maximum steel span of 270’. The concrete box girder is 7’-6” deep and 15’ wide. The steel spans consist of three plate girders that vary in depth from 6’-2” to 8’-6”.
